Private Drone Photography Workshop
in Cincinnati, Ohio
May through October 2024 - 2025

I want to thank you once again for the wonderful private workshop you gave to us this last week in the Smoky Mountains. You had prepared an itinerary that had us at locations nearly guaranteed to make the best use of the available light for the times of day we were to photograph there. You took into account our individual skill levels, knowledge, and needs as you made suggestions on how we might improve scene selection, framing, and overall composition. I found your suggestions regarding, “photographing while keeping in mind what you can do later in post processing”, insightful and very helpful to my workflow. Your extensive knowledge of a myriad of post processing techniques, and your ability to teach those at different skill levels, was very helpful to both of us. As I have begun to process my photos, I must say I am very pleased. The workshop exceeded our expectations on every level, and we look forward to our next time with you.

I’ve been on two photo tours with Bill and I learned so much.  He is more interested in my photos than his own, sharing his knowledge and showing me tricks that I’ll never forget.  They will be used often in the future. I loved his photo tour to Arches National Park and the surrounding area, where he took us to many locations for both the iconic images and beautiful locations off the beaten path. His ability to teach students how to see creatively is second to none.  With his help I brought home many wonderful images.

William Manning: As your photography workshop leader my goal is to help you to approach your subject more creatively. I want to teach you to trust the decisions you make when choosing a lens, a filter, an f-stop, a shutter speed, etc... Workshop locations are chosen for the natural beauty, the diversity, the landmarks but most importantly for you to maximize your time behind the camera. Most importantly, I want you to have a great experience. Time is precious, therefore the time you spend with me I want it to be rewarding. I look forward to having you join me on a future program.
