Photo Connection is a blog where I share my views on current photography issues, my expertise on travel, and share photo and creative techniques for the photographer and artist. I have a wide variety of experience from designing and leading photography tours and workshops, a successful career in stock and assignment photography and a background in graphic design giving me many years of experience using popular software programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign…) long before they were popular among photographers.

Let me be the first to say, “Welcome” to the blogosphere, Bill!!!
Looking good, man!
Bill, I can see you have been real busy with this new blog and it shows. Very nice. I see you had asked about the Texas wildflowers. Terry and I went there with Darrell and Sylvia Gulin, and it couldn’t have been any better! Weather was very good, and we have never seen a bloom like this one. Of course in saying that, we have only been there once before, and I think it was in 2001! I will email you some images from the trip. We are headed for Italy in 10 days and will be there for 3 weeks. Really looking forward to the trip. So far this year we have been to Hawaii, Hong Kong, Alaska, Texas, and the Columbia Gorge. Congratulations again on a job well done! Julie
Julie, Great to hear from you. Thanks for the update on the Texas Wildflowers. Its been a while since Texas has had a banner year for blooms. I have been burnt several times chasing down the flowers in the hill country only to return disappointed, this came of course after a couple great experiences. When its good its good when its bad it can be really bad.
Give my best to Terry, I’ll have to catch up with him soon.
Bill
