Creative Camera Weekend Workshop is a fun filled, creative photography adventure. Join William as he inspires and shares creative techniques and tips that help participants see those common situations in a fun and creative way. Participants will finish the weekend with a new outlook on photographing the ordinary scene and turning them into a gallery of fun, colorful and unique photos. Workshops are a combination of hands on instruction in the streets and easy to follow classroom instruction. Locations for 2020 will be added in late fall.

Typical Workshop schedule is as follows:
(Some variation in schedule may occur depending on time of year and location).
Who Should Attend: Workshop is open to all skill levels. The hands on portion of the workshop is very much a one-on-one instructional format with some group discussions on site. The Sunday Processing portion of the workshop is designed knowing there will be different skill levels involved. Every effort is made to go at a pace so information is easy to understand. William will be available at the end of the workshop so participants can meet individually to ask questions.
Saturday Schedule
Saturday 7 a.m - 8 a.m
Classroom discussion on basic composition and equipment.
Saturday 8:15 a.m til 1 p.m. We hit the streets of our city and start creating. We will talk about creative angles, depth of field, HDR, Focus Stacking, panning and when and how to consider a composite to make a dramatic scene. The photos on this page illustrate many of the techniques mentioned above. (our morning shooting session may go later depending on location and shooting conditions).
Afternoon Break: we can have lunch as group or participants can go on their own.
(This time should also be spend reviewing your work from morning session
so we can discuss and improve upon in the afternoon session).
Saturday 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. We continue our exploration of our host city and start looking at the difference of the late afternoon and evening light. We may cover some of the same locations or explore farther afield. This will vary depending on workshop locations. We will continue looking at some of the same techniques as the morning session and build on our newly developed skills.
Sunday Schedule
Sunday 10 a.m till 2 p.m.
Our processing portion of the workshop gives participants the basic knowledge to process beautiful images. With the knowledge you gain from here you will have the foundation to continue on your own processing images that inspire and open a whole new world of creativity.
• Editing - How to select the right photos that will give you the results you envision.
• Basic Processing techniques using the most popular programs, Adobe Camera Raw,
Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
• Fine tuning your photos to make them pop.
• Dust Spotting Photos, how to clean those distracting marks in your photos.
• The power of using masks.
• Creative plug-ins and Stand Alone software that need to be a part of your tool kit.
• Exposure Blending, manually and using Aurora HDR 2019.
• Processing photos using Focus Stacking Software.
• Useful Photoshop Tools such as Transform (Skew and Warp Tools), Sponge, Dodge, Burn.
• Be Creative with your vision and knowledge.
